Sweet Kanaf Record
In July 2009, a group from the city of Shechem Pastry, located in the West Bank, broke another achievement of the Guinness Book of Records. Officially, the record was registered by local chefs and confectioners, produced the largest confection: traditional Arabic sweet Kanaf "(knafe), which is usually made of sweetened goat cheese.
The Palestinians gathered near a large tray, which is packed traditional Arabic sweet Kanaf weighing 1765 kg on a tray, length 74 meters during a successful attempt to beat the achievement of the Book of World Records Guinness in the city of Nablus in the West Bank July 18, 2009.
