A 42-year-old photographer has been taking pictures of herself as an elderly woman to see what it was like to be an old person in New York City.
Kyoko Hamada, who was born in Tokyo and grew up in Japan before moving to the US when she was 15, got the idea for the project after volunteering to visit lonely senior citizens at their homes.
She's been going undercover as the fictional character 'Kikuchiyo-san' and photographing herself since 2012 as part of her 'I Used To Be You' project.
